MARQUETTE (MI) KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Summits Emery Its In The Bag

Our final report from the past week comes in from Marquette MI where the hometown Marquette Kennel Club gave us three shows.

One dog made the most of the weekend, taking home two BIS and three Sporting Group First.  The Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summits Emery Its In The Bag, took home the big rosettes on days one & two.  Chloe was Loraine Boutwell’s choice on Friday over the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Thaon's Wallstreet, the CH Roserun's Bamboo Tiger, the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH Lakota's Reflection Of Two Bears, the Shih Tzu, CH Ista's Hurricain Chaser, the Lhasa Apso, CH Northwind Nothing But Trouble, and the Smooth Collie, GCH CH Lisara's Smooth Operator.

James Reynolds chose Chloe out of a final that included Chloe, the aforementioned Afghan, Shih Tzu, & Collie, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Tugar's America's Most Wanted, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Homebrewed Page Three Girl, and the Bulldog, CH Considine Exact Classic Cooper.  We have Chloe with eight BIS on the year.

GCH CH Tugar's America's Most Wanted

James Fredericksen had the judge’s book on Sunday his pick of Saturday’s finalists.  It was the Malamute, Falcon, taking home his second BIS of the year.  Both wins have come in the last four weeks.
