After a couple of late nights reporting the details from the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in Long Beach CA, it is time to catch you up on the rest of the US dog scene.  Chicago area fanciers were gathered in Kankakee IL for the Kankakee river Valley Kennel Club’s two shows.  On Saturday Arley Hussin gathered the Brittany GCH CH Star Flight Jumpin Jack Flash OA NAJ RN, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Majic Whatever I Want, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Czatera’s Fun Fast N World Class, the Ccolored Bull Terrier, CH Silmaril Shodowfax, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH Royalist Ready To Reign, the Lhasa Apso, Northwind Nothing But Trouble, and the Border Collie, CH Border Lane Jp Talisman Forever.   Best went to the Toy Spaniel, Dash.  That brings to four the number of BIS for Dash and handler Laura King this year.
