BUCKTHORN VALLEY KC

CH Vaje’s Miss Jayne Hathaway

Next we head out west to Loveland CO for a report on the Buckhorn Valley Kennel Club‘s two shows.   Being the only AKC show for 750 miles has its advantages as the BVKC drem some of the largest entries of the weekend.  On Saturday, with over 1400 dogs entered, Leah Ryan had a final full of talent, the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Autmn’s Staqrdust And Roses, the Whippet, CH Stafline’s Chanel, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Spyglass’s Legend Of Bahia, the West Highland White Terrier, CH Lindenka Delta, the Maltese, CH Rhapsody’s Regarding Henry, the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Vaje’s Miss Jayne Hathaway, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Bugaboo’s Georgie Girl.  His BIS was the Shar-Pei, her second this year.

CH Bugaboo’s Georgie Girl

Sunday, the judge’s book passed to Michael Chaloux.  The Whippet, the Maltese, & the OES, all returned for a second try.  Making their first final of the weekend were the ASCOB Cocker Spaniel, CH Mardi Gras Strut the Stage, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Adair’N’Hug’s Wonderful Life, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Dalriad MKG High Voltage, and the French Bulldog, CH Floresta Ramnes Riddle Me This RN.  He chose the OES, Georgie as his Best.  Georgie and handler Colton Johnson have stayed mostly close to their Colorado home this year, but have managed to stay in the Top Fifteen Dogs All Breeds most of the year.
