CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed

Our wife has reluctantly given up her Florence Nightingale persona and returned to her day job, leaving us unfettered access to the internet and the past weeks dog show news.

And there is lots to cover. The Northeast had torrential rain and wind this weekend, but the dogs at the Monticello New York Kennel Club in Milton NY were unflappable. On Saturday, Charlotte Patterson saw the Irish Setter, CH Shadagee’s Caught Red Handed, the Smooth Dachshund, CH Brodny Schoolhouse Dixie, the Boxer, CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Norfolk Terrier, CH Cracknor Cross The T's, the Toy Poodle, CH Smash Jp Moon Walk, the Bulldog, CH Kepley's Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the Bearded Collie, CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins. It was another BIS for the country’s number two dog all breeds, the Irish Setter, Emily. It’s number eight for Emily & handler Adam Berdardin.

Sunday saw Norman Kenney with all the same finalists save one, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Bluebeard's Suddenly Bridey. His Best was the sleek Boxer, Scarlet. Scarlet finished 2009 as a top ten dog. This win could put her back in that group.
