NEW JERSEY NEWS

Down in Buena NJ the Gloucester County & South Jersey Kennel Club teamed up for a threesome this past weekend. On Friday, the Gloucester KC started with Betsy Horn Humer in the final ring.

Her seven were the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, CH Fireside’s Spontaneous Combustion, the Whippet, CH Sporting Fields Bahama Sands, the Airedale, CH Stirling Cool Hand Luke, the Rottweiler, CH Blackrock’s Kasanova, the Shih Tzu, CH Krissy’s Dream Lover, the Schipperke, CH Aned’s LeRocher Noir, and the Bouvier, CH Brimar’s Always Mandrake,HT. BIS went to the Schipperke, bred by MaryAnn Simanek, who co-owns with Judy Wells. Congratulations to them both.

On Saturday it was day two for the Gloucester KC and Arlene Benko in the final ring. You may recall that we told you that the BIS winner was the Bearded Collie, CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins. Roy’s six runners up were the aforementioned WPG, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Hallam’s Gysai Gabriel SC, the Bullmastiff, CH Ishana’s Play It Again Sam, Friday’s Airedale, Lucas, the Pug, CH Indigo’s Touch Of Gold, and the French Bulldog, CH Justus I’M Your Man. (We LOVE this photo!)

We also told you that the Irish Setter, CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed, was Linda More’s pick for BIS at the South Jersey KC’s show. Emily was accompanied by the Scottish Deerhound, CH Gayleward’s Jaraluv Nike, the abovementioned Rottie, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Earthsong Remedy For The Blues, and the previously seen Shih Tzu, Schipperke, and Beardie.
