Our first result today come in from Leesburg VA where the Middleburg Kennel Club opened their two day set.   Paula Nykiel’s seven hopefuls were the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Dawnglow Knight Rider, the Scottish Deerhound, Foxcliffe Enchanted Evening, the Great Dane, GCH CH Longo Miller N Lore's Diamond Lil, the West Highland White Terrier, GCH CH  Blythefell Fergus, the Pekingese, GCH CH Yakee Easily Persuaded, the Chow Chow, GCH CH Xclnt’s Ima Smooth at Tedi-Lan, and the Beauceron, GCH CH Beowolf Rime Des Monts Du Lac.

Claiming the top awards were the Beauceron, Rime, with the RBIS and the Great Dane, Scout, with the BIS.  The eye catching black Dane now has ten BIS this year, three in the last 45 days.

GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator

The Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, picked up his second consecutive BIS in Bayamon PR at yesterday’s Caribe Kennel Club show.  Terry Berrios’ RBIS was the Standard Poodle, GCH CH  Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker.

Also on hand were the Vizsla, CH Vizcayas Return Of The Cisco Kid, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Hemlock's Jack of Hearts RA, the West Highland White Terrier, and the Australian Shepherd, Bayshore Avatar Magic In Motion.

The Harrier, Chet, is the Number 14 Dog All Breeds with 17 BIS this season.

SIOUX EMPIRE KC DAY ONE

Our Number Two Dog All Breeds, the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, began his weekend in Sioux Falls SD with a BIS at the Sioux Empire Kennel Club’s first of three shows.  Beverly Capstick’s RBIS was the Basset Hound, GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Meenie Miney Moe.

Joining her top two were the Rottweiler, GCH CH Ecko Ridge's Big Easy Fast And Furious, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Rivers Force of Nature, the King Charles & Ruby English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH LTO’s Prosperity, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Chaoyang Bestofmy Love At Asia, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay’s Wicked.

Peyton started the weekend about 1300 points behind the leader.  Friday’s win, his 50^th this year, will cut that deficit in half.

The Queensboro Kennel Club opened the show weekend here on the mainland in West Springfield MA.

The seven dogs David Jay Hyman considered were the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire, the Scottish Deerhound, GCH CH Brackenshire Scotch N Ice, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Xoloitzcuintli, CH Tecoman Avalos, and the Puli, GCH CH Fuzzy Farm Twist and Shout.

His BIS was the Doberman, Jackson.  Jackson and handler Gwen DeMilta have fought their way into the Top Twenty All Breeds with 14 BIS this year.

BAYAMON PR DAY ONE

As Hurricane Sandy bears down on us here on the mainland, the folks in Bayamon PR, opened up their four day set with yesterday’s Ponce Kennel Club show.  Col Joe Purkhiser’s finalists were the Vizsla, CH Vizcayas Return Of The Cisco Kid, the Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Hemlock's Jack of Hearts RA, the West Highland White Terrier, Alborado Romain Gaudi, the Havanese, CH Yup's Malibu Dream, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dacun Kaylen's He's A Heartbreaker, and the Australian Shepherd, Azure Royal Duke Of Cambridge.

The day one winners were the Havanese, Kenny, who claimed the Reserve award, and the harrier, Chet, who collect the Best In Show.  Chet is the country’s Number Two Hound with 16 BIS this year.
