We return to the west coast, to Kennewick WA, where the
Richland Kennel Club held two shows this weekend. Saturday’s final featured judge Bill Shelton
in the final ring with the Weimaraner, GCH CH Diamond MK The Eagle Has Landed,
the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Cherry Creek Believe It Or Not, the Doberman Pinscher,
GCH CH Tiburon Arsenal, the Miniature Bull Terrier, GCH CH Cambria’s Kid n Play,
the Japanese Chin, GCH CH Victory Spencer, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton
Lakeridge Encore, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay’s Preferential.
The two that impressed judge Shelton were the Doberman,
Gunner, and the Sheltie, Satoshi. Gunner
is the nation’s Number One Doberman Pinscher and Number Six Working Dog with
two BIS and 33 Working Groups.
Gunner, Satoshi, and the above named Poodle would return to
the final ring on Sunday. Joining them
in Tim Catterson’s final were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Rush Hill's Drama'geddon JH, the Pharaoh
Hound, CH Farao Anubis Inferno SC, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Wedigit
Paparazzi, and the Miniature Pinscher, CH Keridan My Favorite Toy.
Finishing one/two were the MinPin, Woody, and the Doberman,
Gunner. It’s the first BIS for 16 month
old Woody. Congratulations to breeder/owner Keri Haney, co-breeder Daniel
Haney, and owner Kathy Hawkins. We hope
