GCH CH Rhapsody's Regarding Henry
We have some partial results from Sinton TX near Corpus Christie. The weekend started on Friday with a limited breed show, the Alamo Area Toy Dog Club. Luc Boileau’s Best Toy Dog was the Maltese, GCH CH Rhapsody's Regarding Henry. Henry was Number One Maltese in 2010, winning the American Maltese Association’s National Specialty as well as three all breed BIS and 34 Toy Groups. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Tonia Holibaugh and owners Katherine Kasten and Paula Bailly.

The Corpus Christi Kennel Club opened today’s all breed competition, capping the day with Peggy Lloyd’s final. She chose the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s As You Like It, as her BIS. Among her seven were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Win'Weim's It's My Grey Goose, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Skyscot’s Poker Chip, the Affenpinscher, CH Ferlin's It's All About Me, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Hanna's Dam Inge Fair Sun. We are still seeking the identities of the Doberman Pinscher and Shetland Sheepdog in the final.
The Pharaoh Hound, Qing, who is from Sweden, is one of several impressive imports that made 2010 so exciting. Qing collected 15 all breed BIS, the most ever by a Pharaoh Hound, and 51 Hound Group Firsts. Congratulations to breeder Hanna Ukura, owners Jenny Hall & Annika Lundquist, and handler Brian Livingston.
