We begin our show reports this morning with the largest show
of the week, the Finger Lakes Kennel Club show, where nearly 2000 dogs gathered
in Romulus NY. The seven that made it
all the way to judge Diane Malenfant’s final were the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH
CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Aviance's
Pramada For Terms Of Endearment SL, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Bellnhans Wannabe
Irish, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket to Ride, the Pekingese, GCH CH Yakee easily Persuaded, the Standard
Poodle, CH Dawin Wildrose Raisin' The Stakes, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH
Haystac's Bristol Breeze.
Picking up her second consecutive BIS was the IWS,
Riley. Getting the Reserve was the
Dachshund, Dimitri. The win, her 15th
in 49 final appearances this year will likely move her back into the Top Ten
All Breeds, pending today’s shows.
