The nation’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Portuguese Water
Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, made appearances in New York,
Virginia, and Tennessee this week, collecting four BIS along the way. The last two came at the Greater Murfreesboro
Kennel Club’s two shows in that Tennessee town.
Saturday Matisse was the choice of judge Roger Hartinger for
BIS. Judge Hartinger also liked the
Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Topsy Turvey, for his RBIS. Rounding out the Saturday final were the
Chesapeake Bay Retriever, GCH CH Chesastar Hudson Bay RN, the 15” Beagle, GCH
CH South N Encore Caught Red Handed, the Scottish Terrier, Brookhill's Sweet
Talk, the Long Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Matriart LG Muffin, and the Tibetan
Terrier, CH Rinchen's Blazing Illusion By Dzine.

Matisse as his Best and the Puli, Charlotte, as his Reserve, while the
Parti-Colored Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Conquest's This Is It!, the Rhodesian
Ridgeback, GCH CH Raquel Welch Of Malabo APD, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH West
Meade Repeat Performance, the Japanese Chin, CH Touche Mishamai Ringleader, and
the Dalmatian, GCH CH Bret D Gabriel's Lost Art CD RE, watched.
Matisse would collect a little less than 3200 points for the
four shows, bringing his 2013 record to 64 BIS & 98 Working Groups.
