The nation’s Number Two Dog, the Portuguese Water Dog,
GCH CH Claircreek's Impression de Matisse, continued his winning ways, picking up the top prize at today’s Augusta Kennel
Club show in that South Carolina town.
Joining Matisse in judge Elizabeth Muthard’s final were the English
Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Dixieland Duchess, the RBIS, the Treeing Walker
Coonhound, GCH CH Alexander’s Gold Rush Xcetera, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH
Temora Ri Dierrc, the Pug, GCH CH Casper’s Sirius Endeavor, the Tibetan
Spaniel, GCH CH Kan Sing’s Tenzin, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Topsy
Turvy.

While Matisse leads all dogs with 65 BIS, he trails the
Number One Dog by over 16,000 points. We
have seen Christmas miracles before. We
are not going to say this race is over…..yet.
