Grand Junction CO was one of only two sites offering four shows this week. As we told you earlier, the Old English
Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect, took the BIS at Thursday’s and Friday’s shows.
Saturday Swagger would do it all over again, convincing
judge Helen Haas to give him his third consecutive big rosette. Judge Haas also liked the Clumber Spaniel,
GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration with Traddles, whom she gave the Reserve
ribbon. Rounding out the final were the
Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the Akita, CH Redwitch Adrenaline
Junkie, the Standard Manchester Terrier, GCH CH Oasis Razzmatazz, the
Affenpinscher, GCH CH Tamarin Tarheel, and the Lhasa Apso, CH Sundancer Hylan
Shotru Secret Dawn.
Sunday Swagger would plead his case with BIS judge James
Ham. Providing the competition were the
Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash's Ruggedly Handsome, the previously seen
Harrier, Chet, another Akita, GCH CH Stardust's See You At The Show, the
Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH First Class Willow Wind The Phoenix, the Pug, GCH CH
Winsome-Nirvana-Blaque Triple Play, and the Bulldog, GCH CH Newcomb's Pandamonium
@ Beda.
Judge Ham would choose the Bulldog, Panda, as his Best and
the Pug, Slugger. It’s the second BIS in
14 final appearances for Panda and handler Jay Serion.
