Our Monday Morning Mop Up begins in Carson City NV where the
Bonanza Kennel Club of Carson City offered two shows this weekend. The seven dogs that made judge Patricia
Lanctot’s final were the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade's Pay It Forward, the
Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Rottweiler, CH Bigluv's
Top Gun-Iceman, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Absolutely Talk of the Town, the
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Quail Garden Loch Lomond Déjà vu, the
Standard Poodle, GCH CH Del Zarzoso Salvame From Afterglow, and the Bouvier des
Flandres, GCH CH Take Aim's Playing For Gryffindor.
Her Best was the Poodle, Dino, her Reserve, the Field
Spaniel, Gideon. Dino, 2012’s Non-Sporting
Group winner at the AKC.Eukanuba National Championship, has seven BIS and 23
Non-Sporting Groups this year.
Dino and Gideon would be the only of Saturday’s finalists to
return to Sunday’s BIS ring. They were
joined in judge Jon Cole’s final by the petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH
M&M’s Fear the Beard, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Cortereal Iron Man
CDX RA AXJ MXJ MXF BN CGC XF, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Regency’s Playing
for Keeps, the Havanese, GCH CH Oeste's Flirt'n With An Outlaw, and the Puli, CH
Mt Hood's Leapin' Linni Of Tordor.
Taking the BSI was the PBGV, Wilson. Once again, the Field Spaniel, Gideon, would
play bridesmaid with the Reserve. It’s
the first BIS of the year in ten final appearances for Wilson and owner/handler
Janice Hayes. Congratulations to Janice
and breeder/owner Donna Moore.
