The country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Wire Fox
Terrier, GCH AfterAll Painting the Sky, has become the latest dog to reach that
coveted career milestone, 100 BIS, by taking today’s top prize at the Hatboro
Dog Club show in Wrightstown PA.
The win was accomplished in grand style, at a show with more
than 1000 Terriers entered. Before Sky
could even face her all breed opponents, she had to fight her way out of a
Terrier Group that saw most of the US’ top Terriers competing. Judge Vandra Huber gave her runner up spots
to the Russell Terrier, GCH CH Goldsands Columbus, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH
Terrydale Fortune Forward, and the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlakes Pants on
Fire.
In Desmond Murphy’s final, Sky and handler Gabriel Rangel
faced more top ranked competition, the English Springer Spaniel, CH Cerise
Sentinel, the RBIS, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded, the
Siberian Husky, GCH CH Snowfire’s Holy Moses, the Papillon, GCH CH Wildfire On The
Record, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Del Zarzoso from Afterglow, and the
Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Acadia Stage Presence.
In addition to hitting the 100 career BIS mark, the win, Sky’s
61st of 2013, makes it all but a certainty that Sky will be the
Number One Dog All Breeds at year end. Congratulations
to Gabriel, breeders A J Pertuit Jr & Betty Seton, and owners Victor
Malzoni, Torie Steele, Mary & Scott
Olund & Diane Ryan.
