GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore
We go out west for our next report, to Roseville CA, where
the Donner Trail Kennel Club offered up two chances for all breed points. Day one ended with judge Gene Mills in the
final ring with the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Segre's Brown Derby BN RA
OA OAJ, the Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Siberian
Husky, CH Topaz Bad Action, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Absolutely Talk of
the Town, the Silky Terrier, CH Mariblu Forevermore at Safire, the Standard
Poodle, Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay
Preferential.
GCH CH PaRay Preferential
His Best was the Poodle, Ally, and his Reserve was the
Sheltie, Satoshi. Ally has been among
the country’s top dogs since her spectacular win from the classes at the Poodle
Club of America’s 2010 National Specialty.
This year Ally is the Number One Non-Sporting Dog and Number Ten Dog All Breeds with 25 BIS and 52 Group
Ones.
GCH CH Absolutely Talk of the Town
Sunday judge Faye Strauss would see five of Saturday’s
finalists and the Black & Tan
Coonhound, GCH CH Windbourne HD Ranch King Of The Road, & the
Affenpinscher, CH Vily's Apolo Ohno. She
would choose the Smooth Fox, Taylor, as her Best. Getting his second RBIS of the set was the
Sheltie, Satoshi. The win was Taylor’s
tenth BIS in 26 final attempts this year.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to see Taylor and handler Eddie Boyes at
Montgomery County on Sunday. Hopefully
the two will be back east for the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
