With over 1000 Terriers at the three all breed warm ups
before Sunday’s Montgomery County Kennel Club show in Eastern Pennsylvania, Many
of the non-Terriers (along with 23 Terriers)
opted to attend Saturday’s Fort Steuben Kennel Association & Sunday’s
Beaver County Kennel Club shows in Aliquippa in Western PA.
GCH CH Alexanders Gold Rush Xcetera Filing into the final
ring at Saturday’s FSKA show were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Northwind’s First Reign,
the Treeing Walker Coonhound, GCH CH
Alexanders Gold Rush Xcetera, the St Bernard, GCH CH Jamelle’s Aristocrat V
Elba, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Lamz Eleanor Rigby, the Cavalier King
Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Burbrook Storm Chaser, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH
Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Border Collie, GCH CH Sporting Fields Heiress
HSAs.
Leaving with the top awards were the Coonhound, who took the
Reserve, and the Standard Poodle, London, who picked up the Best In Show. London is AKC’s Number One Standard Poodle,
Number One Non-Sporting Dog, and the Number Nine Dog All breeds with 29 BIS
this season.

Sunday London and the above named
Bedlington were the only two of Saturday’s finalists to make it to Kimberly
Meredith-Cavanna’s final. Joining the
two were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Northwoods Send Money Honey, the Rhodesian
Ridgeback, GCH CH Whirlaway's Ida Belle's A Ringing, the Boxer, GCH CH Draco
Greets Dassin With Fourbears, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy
Spaniel, GCH CH Loujon Backroads To Paris, and the Smooth Collie, GCH CH C and
J Silver Charm Of Chrysalis.

Ending the week with a RBIS was
the Weimaraner, Schatze, and adding a BIS to her resume was the Boxer, Margee. It’s the third BIS this year for Margee who
has only been on the show scene for a few months.
