The Mesilla Valley Kennel Club and
the Chaparral Kennel Club teamed up for four shows in Alamogordo NM this past
weekend. The MVKC had the first two days
and Jacki Stacy had the first final. The
seven making that final were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Ventures Boys N Toys,
the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Barristers Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend, the
Rottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor High Flyin' Gladiator, the Welsh Terrier, CH
Malvado Rayne Beau, the Havanese, GCH CH Bellatak McDreamy, the French Bulldog,
GCH CH Imperiale Bellaridge Shady Harbor Patrick Dempsey, and the Beauceron,
GCH CH Flame Noire Du Chateau Rocher.
GCH CH Ventures Boys N Toys
Claiming the first prizes of the
stop were the RBIS, the Golden, Tonka, and the BIS, the Havanese, Dreamer. Dreamer
has three BIS in 13 final appearances this year.
GCH CH Harmony Hill's Money Talks
Dreamer would return on Saturday
along with the above named Beagle and Rott to see Peggy Conger along with the
English Springer Spaniel, CH Winamere N Gold Camp Simply D Best, the Kerry Blue
Terrier, GCH CH Tontine's Chance Redemption, the Bulldog, Newcomb's Konnie K,
and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hill's Money Talks.
It would be the Aussie, Cash,
running away with the points while the Rottweiler, Pilot, would get the runner
up spot.

Best
Sunday Betty Jo Patrick would see
the aforementioned Springer, Rott, Kerry, & Havanese, the Basenji, CH
Ahmahr Nahr's Lost Angel Gabriel, the Keeshond, Ruttkay Chance, and the Smooth
Collie, GCH CH Traveler’s Pierce Arrow. The
Havanese would once again pick up the RBIS, while the Springer, Patron, would
get his first BIS of the year.
Congratulations to breeder/owner Glenda McCain and owner/handler Lynda
O'Connor-Schneider.
GCH CH Itsa Brix
Monday Tim Robbins would close
the set along with the Springer, Patron, the Wirehaired Dachshund, CH Tievoli
Rumors Oh Hail Yeah MW, the Rottweiler, Pilot, the Border Terrier, CH Bravo's
High Dollar Habit, the Havanese, Dreamer, the Bulldog, GCH CH Itsa Brix, and
the Australian Shepherd, Cash. The Bulldog, Brix, would collect the Reserve
ribbon, and the Aussie, Cash, would take his second big rosette of the
stop. Cash is the country’s Number One Australian
Shepherd with six BIS and 20 Herding Groups.
