GCH CH Gunther's Gussied Up Edna
We have focused our reports this weekend on the big Terrier
Tussle in Pennsylvania, but it’s Monday and that means the Monday Morning Mop
Up. We usually start our reports in the
east and work our way west, but we will try to spread it around this morning.
GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder
We start in Yorkville IL where the Stone City Kennel Club gave
us two all breed shows. Monica
Canestrini had the day one final and her pick of the English Springer Spaniel, Gentry's
Homecoming Queen, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundelben Queen’s Armada SL,
the Giant Schnauzer, Histyle’s Candy Land, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH
CH Cumhill Hell Raiser, the Pomeranian, CH Tab’s Scootin’ Boomer of Storm, the
Boston Terrier, GCH CH Gunther's Gussied Up Edna, and the Old English Sheepdog,
GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.
Finishing One/Two were the Boston, Edna, and the OES,
Elvis. It’s tough for a Boston Terrier
to get out of the Non-Sporting Group and win a
BIS and the charming Edna has done it twice this year. Both of her wins have come in the last
month. She is the only Boston Terrier to
win a BIS this year.
GCH CH Pem We-Syng Lucky Mi
On Sunday Edna, Elvis, and the LH Dachshund, Cheese, would
return for a second try at the big rosette.
Joining them in Col. Jerry H Weiss’ final were the Brittany, GCH CH Star
Flight Jumpin Jack Flash OA NAJ, the Great Dane, CH Alpine's Ice Warrior V
Hawthorn, the Irish Terrier, CH Granuaile´s Crimson Treasure, and the Japanese
Chin, GCH CH Pem We-Syng Lucky Mi. Once
again Elvis would get the Reserve award while the Chin, Mimi would take home
the BIS. Mimi is the winningest Chin in
AKC history with 15 BIS this season.
LOVED that Irish Terrier, GCH Granuaile's Crimson Treasure!
