WET & WILD IN ATLANTA

Here in the South we have been experiencing torrential rains for over a week. Despite that Atlanta was awash in quality dogs this past weekend. It started on Thursday with limited breed shows for Hounds, Terriers, & Toys and a host of other specialites. We’ve already given you Friday’s results. Here’s the rest of the weekend.

CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot

Saturday, they started with over 2,000 dogs before Karen Wilson ended up with the impressive seven of the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout, the Whippet, CH Sporting Fields Bahama Sands, the Anatolian Shepherd Dog, CH Inanna Bay Boudreau Of Luckyhit, the Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot, the Toy Poodle, CH Smash JP Moon Walk, the Lhasa Apso, CH My Thai Ta Sen Halleluiah, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams.

Best In Show went to the country’s number one dog, the Scottie, Sadie. It would be her last appearance of the weekend, as she would set sail for home with the all Terrier BIS as well as Friday and Saurday’s all breed BIS.

CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream

Sunday, Only the Toy Poodle, Walker, would make it back to see BIS judge Linda More. Also on hand were the Golden Retriever, CH Toasty’s Treasure Island, the Afghan Hound, CH Genesis Silverado, the Boxer, CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice, the Standard Poodle, CH Dawin Spitfire, and the Rough Collie, CH Sylvan Argent Simply Irresistible.

Sunday’s big prize would go to the Boxer, Scarlett. Scarlett started the week as the country’s number six dog all breeds. This win will move her up at least one more spot.
