Our lone offering in the Great lakes Region was in western Pennsylvania in the town of Prospect where the Butler County Kennel Club hosted a pair of shows.
On Saturday, they had Theresa Hundt considering the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, CH Fireside's Spontaneous Combustion, the Irish Wolfhound, CH Dun Myrica Speaker Of Eagle, the Akita, CH Sondaisa's Seize The Moment, the Parson Russell Terrier, CH Thunder Hill Soul Journey, the Pug, CH Nonesuch Annie's Mainsail, the French Bulldog, CH Justus I'm Your Man, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Quiche's Demetrius.
BIS went to the Wolfhound, Tip. Tip is the country’s number one Wolfhound, the number two mHound, and the number 16 dog all breeds.
On Sunday, Tip would be back with Saturday finalists the Griffon and the Pug. Rounding out Don Roger’ seven were the Rottweiler, CH Blackrocks Kazanova, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Avalon Eclipse, the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Vaje's Miss Jayne Hathaway, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Dragonpatch Amoretta Joliette. It was the Griffon, picking up his first all breed BIS. The three year old was bred by Elaine Huinsicke, who co owns him with Joan Coughlin. He is expertly handled by Michelle Scott. Congratulations to them all.
