We just got off the phone with our ringside reporter from Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY where the Brookhaven Kennel Club held their show today.
BIS was judged by Roland Pelland who had a varied group of superlative dogs, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, CH Lennoxlove Susqudilla’s Mini Cooper, the Basset Hound, CH Topsfield-Sanchu Pop Art O’Bridi, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Bluemoon Tazenite V Blackrock CD, the Irish Terrier, CH Fleet St Fenway Fan, the Havanese, CH Fuzzy Farm Devil Mde Me Do It, a Bulldog from the six to nine month old puppy dog class, Saint Brides No Moe Bull-Sit, Just Moe Lovin, and the Bearded Collie, CH Tolkien Raintrees Mister Baggins.
It was the Beardie, Roy, currently number 20 in the national all breed rankings, taking home the Best In Show and putting a little distance between him and the number 21 and 22 dogs, both Herding Dogs as well. These last three months of the year will see lots of jockeying down the stretch and we will be there to give you the latest.
