In our previous post we talked about how competitive this year’s race for Number One Terrier is. The Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie, started the month as the Number One Terrier and has added two BIS since then.
GCH CH Bandog’s Major League Homerun at TX Star
The latest came at Saturday’s West Volusia Kennel Club in Deland FL. Joining Charlie in judge Michael Hill’s final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Toybox Double Dutch, the Saluki, GCH CH Baha Persian Of Interest CD RN SC OA AXJ NF, the Mastiff, GCH CH Goldleaf’s Trouble Coming CGC, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Dancee I’ve Got A Secret At Purple Jade, the RBIS, Charlie’s kennelmate, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bandog’s Major League Homerun at TX Star, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Get Over It. Charlie finishes the week with 21 BIS.
GCH CH Goldleaf’s Trouble Coming CGC
At Sunday’s WVKC judge Audrey Lycan would see the same Mastiff, Skye, Frenchie, & Corgi, the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Eagleridge Truckin In Style CGC, the Borzoi, GCH CH Sylvan Silver Springbok, and the Pomeranian, GCH CH Abbapoola's Mr. Slice Of Life.
She would choose the Mastiff, Aji, as the Best and Charlie, the Skye, as her Reserve. It’s the first BIS this year for the country’s Number 11 Working Dog. Congratulations to breeder/owner Laura Watson, co-breeders Jann Lanz, Mark Lanz, & Monica Coyle, and handler Terry Smith.
