The Corpus Christie Kennel Club held their two shows this
weekend in nearby Sinton TX. The seven
dogs that made it to judge Melvin Beech’s final on Saturday were the German
Shorthaired Pointer, CH Ehrenvogel Achy Breaky Heart, the Longhaired Dachshund,
CH Walmar-Solo's OMG SL, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Van Orman's I Want It All,
the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH Explicit's Full Throttle To Alpine, the
Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Chase What's Matters, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade
East Do You Know The Way To San Jose, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry
Just A Little Crush.

Taking home the big rosette was the GSP, Cyrus. Collecting the reserve ribbon was the
Shar-Pei, Josie. It was the first
all-breed BIS for Cyrus and breeder/owner/handler Renee Lara DVM. Congratulations to Renee, co-breeder Ann
Claire Lester, and owner Carlene Swensson.

Five of Saturday’s finalists would return to the BIS ring on
Sunday to plead their cases with judge
Joan Beech. Making their first appearance
of the weekend were the Colored Bull Terrier, GCH CH Glentom's Dirty Harry, and
the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey's Moon River.

Finishing one/two were the Pom, Chase, and the Dachshund,
Burns. Chase was 2013’s Number One
Pomeranian and Number Nine Toy Dog with four BIS and 39 Toy Groups. Congratulations to breeders Robert &
Celeste Solano, owners Pamela Fielder & David Ford, and handler Noble Inglett.
