The 2014 winning streak of the country’s Number One Dog All
Breeds was stopped at six today. The
Akita, GCH CH CR-Wicca’s Trade Secret, bested the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH
Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, in judge Whitney Coombs’ Working Group at
the Chesapeake Kennel Club Of Maryland’s closer in Fredericksburg VA.
Trader would advance to Nat Horn’s final where he was
joined by the English Setter, GCH CH Weymouths En Fuego,the Afghan Hound, GCH CH
Exlysta Aries Ciel Noir, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Crispy Legacy, the Havanese,
GCH CH Yup's Malibu Dream, French Bulldog, GCH CH Diva's Bastille My Heart, and
the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Collinswood Sparks Fly.
Judge Horn would make Trader his BIS and the Afghan,
Ryder, his RBIS. Trader was 2013’s
Number Five Working Dog with seven and 31 Working Groups. Congratulations to
breeders/owners Joann Charnik & Carla Burke, owners Thomas Bavaria &
Ann Bavaria, and handler Heather Bremmer.
