When we last were in West Friendship MD we told you about
Friday’s Catonsville Kennel Club show.
Saturday’s CKC ended with judge Mark Kennedy considering the English
Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Dixieland Duchess, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH
Tells Matrix Reloaded, the Samoyed, GCH CH Pebblerun Play It Again Ham, the Miniature
Schnauzer, GCH CH Joker Land’s Glacyka,
the Pekingese, GCH CH Yakee Easily Persuaded, the Tibetan Spaniel, GCH CH Kan
Sing’s Tenzin, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Rosevalley’s Special
Edition.
His Best In Show was the Tibbie, and his Reserve was the
Australian Shepherd. Tenzin is the
country’s Number One Tibetan Spaniel and Number Three Non-Sporting Dog with six
BIS and 50 Non-Sporting Groups.
GCH CH Flessner's International S'Cess
The Nation Capital Kennel Club took over on Sunday, putting
judge Charlotte Patterson in the final ring with the Gordon Setter, GCH CH
Sandpiper's Castles in the Air, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Flessner's International
S'Cess, the Boxer, GCH CH Hi-Tech The King Of Sherry Shoot Jp, the Scottish
Terrier, GCH CH GCH CH Hi-Tech The King Of Sherry Shoot Jp, the aforementioned
Peke, Rodger, the Tibbie, Tenzin, and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi from the classes, Corguard's
Diale One-VIII Hundred Yum Yum.
Going home with the big rosette was the Bloodhound,
Rocketman. Getting the reserve ribbon
was Rodger, the Peke. It was the second BIS in 16 final attempts
this year.
