As we continue our review of this past week’s shows we turn
our attention to Augusta NJ where the country’s Number Two Dogs All Breeds, the
Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, continued his
extraordinary run of wins, adding four more BIS to his 2013 resume. When last we checked in with Matisse and
handler Michael Scott, they had just accepted the big rosette at Friday’s
Palisades Kennel Club show.

On Saturday Matisse was judge Peter Green’s Best In

CH Rocco’s Collar King Carl XVI Gustaf, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Sakura,
the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Rinchen’s Blazing Black Icon, and the Briard, GCH

GCH CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire
At Sunday’s Ramapo Kennel Club final judge Thomas Kirsten chose
Matisse and the IWS, Riley, as his top two while the Afghan Hound, GCH CH
Exlysta Aries Ciel Noir, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Class Act By Hallsblu,
the above named Toy Poodle, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight,
and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Get Over It.
Matisse brought it home Monday with the RKC’s day two
BIS. Judge Joan Goldstein also liked the
American Foxhound, Jewel, for her RBIS.
Staying all day to watch were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH
Cerise Sentinel, and the previously seen Kerry, Toy Poodle, Tibetan Terrier,
