GCH CH Take Aim’s Playing For Gryffindor
Just a short drive from the Golden Gate Bridge is the town
of Petaluma CA, the site of this past weekend’s Redwood Empire Kennel Club’s
two shows. Saturday’s final was in the
hands of judge Tom Hale. The seven
hoping to impress him were the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Robin Crest
Great Expectations, the Ibizan Hound, GCH CH Harehill’s Ace in the Hole, the Rottweiler,
GCH CH High Hills Holy Smoke CD RN CGC, the Parson Russell Terrier, GCH CH Rosewoods
OMG, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Paragons Sharp Dressed Man at Greengates, the
Keeshond, GCH CH Summerwind’s Rumor Has It, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH
CH Take Aim’s Playing For Gryffindor.
GCH CH Summerwind’s Rumor Has It
His BIS was the young Bouvier, Gryf, his RBIS, the Keeshond,
Rumor. It’s the third BIS in 21 final
appearances for Gryf and handler Larry Fenner.
GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward
Gryf would be back on Sunday to see BIS judge Carole
Beattie, along with the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade’s Pay It Forward, the
Basset Hound, GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, the Doberman
Pinscher, GCH CH Alisation Blackbird V Allure Beaulane, the Irish Terrier, GCH
CH Rockledge McCallen of Meath, the Havanese, GCH CH Oeste’s Flirt’n With An
Outlaw, and the Keeshond, Rumor.
The Field Spaniel, Gideon, would collect the Best In Show,
and Gryf, the Bouvier, would take home the Reserve award. Gideon now has two BIS and 18 Sporting Groups
this year.
