Roswell NM is better known to UFO enthusiasts than it is to dog
fanciers. The Rio Pecos Kennel Club did
what they could do to change that hosting two shows this past weekend. Judge Sharon Newcomb had the Saturday final
and her pick of the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration with
Traddles, the Basenji, CH Ahmahr Nahr's Hallelujah Makes A Joyful Noise, the
Akita, CH Redwitch Adrenaline Junkie, the Miniature Bull Terrier, GCH CH Dytona
VIP, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla Small Kraft Re-Lit, the Bulldog, Newcombs Dream
Chaser @ Beda, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Sun Farm's Dragon Warrior V
Enchanted.

BIS was the Akita, Fraser, RBIS, a 14 month old Bulldog from
the classes (someone send us a photo of this youngster!) It’s the first BIS for the British import, Fraser. Congratulations to breeders David Killilea, Jenny
Killilea, & A Clure, owners Michael Bauman & Dr Xiaohang Wang-Bauman,
and Jorge Olivera.
GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration with Traddles
Gloria Geringer would see five of Saturday’s finalists, the
15” Beagle, CH Luvbug Cooper Rose More Than A Feeling, and the Miniature
Poodle, GCH CH Sandstorm X's In Texas AX AXJ.
Her Best was the Clumber, Seymour, and her Reserve, the MiniBull, Simon. Seymour is now the nation’s Number One
Sporting Dog with 22 BIS and 45 Sporting Group.
