GCH CH Woodstock’s Belle Star
Santa Barbara wasn’t the only California city to offer
fanciers dog show fun this past week. In
Northern California fanciers headed to Santa Rosa, 45 miles north of San
Francisco, for the Mensona Kennel Club’s two shows.
On Saturday judge Col Joe Purkhiser would share the final
ring with the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Regency’s Raise The Bet, the Petit
Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH M & M’s Fear The Beard, the Samoyed, GCH CH Rossia’s
Denali Star, the White Bull Terrier, GCH CH Bullseye Oliver Orion, the Shih
Tzu, GCH CH Xeralane’s Just Face It, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Penndragon
Owain, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Woodstock’s Belle Star.
Finishing one/two were the Australian Shepherd, and the Bull
Terrier. Belle is the country’s Number
One Australian Shepherd and Number 11 Herding Dog with three BIS and 18 Herding
Groups.

Denny Mounce would see a whole new seven on Sunday, the
Chesapeake Bay Retriever, GCH CH QuailRidge’s Top Dee O Gee Maxamillan, the
Saluki, GCH CH Jamora Mystic Topaz JC, the Bullmastiff, GCH CH Baron
Dye Of Ridgetop, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just Kidding v Sole
Baye, the Miniature Pinscher, Winters Delkamar I Think I Am A Rockstar, the Chow
Chow, CH Padow’s Too Hot Too Handle, and the Beauceron, GCH CH De Joie Du
Chateau Rocher CA CGC.
GCH CH Baron Dye Of Ridgetop
Judge Mounce would chose the Schnauzer as her Best, and the Bullmastiff
as her Reserve. Justin is AKC’s Number
Four Terrier with 14 BIS and 41 Terrier Groups.
Three of those BIS have come in the last two weekends.
