GCH CH Valcopy C-Lyn Dracula
From Elma WA, we have our third instance this weekend of a first timer winning back2back BIS. The Toy Fox Terrier, GCH CH Valcopy C-Lyn Dracula, took both the top prizes at this weekend’s Olympia Dog Fanciers Association’s shows.
On Saturday the 23 month old was Dr Roger Pritchard’s pick over the English Springer Spaniel, CH Oxbow's Gold Medal, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Add-Sim's Scout of MT, the Bernese Mountain Dog, GCH CH Alpenspirit Who's On First, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Highway Man, the Lhasa Apso, Chic Choix Parti Parade, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Snowdowne When In Rome.
Sunday, the Toy Fox, the AmStaff, & the OES returned to see Jospeh Joly. Rounding out the final were the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Poole's Ide Got Water RN, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Foxtail's Master Of The Sea, the Newfoundland, GCH CH Big Dog Farm Oh My Baby Huey, and the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Xu-Fei's Ruff-Cut Black Magic.
We remind you, that like all three of these first timers, Dracula was challenged by multiple BIS winners. For all you folks out there that think you don’t have a chance at the big win, take heart. Congratulations to breeders/owners Dana Plonkey & Lynn McKee.
