Late results keep trickling in. The Sooner State Kennel Club posted two shows this weekend in Enid OK.
CH Fireside’s Spontaneous Combustion
On Saturday, BIS judge Raymond Bay saw the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, CH Fireside’s Spontaneous Combustion, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, CH Jodell’s Boogie Back To Texas Of MNM, the Great Dane, CH Von Bruno’s Anticipation, the Kerry Blue, CH Irisfingel Blue Badge, the Miniature Pinscher, CH Nevaeh Red Cloud Of Tall Oaks, the Tibetan Spaniel, CH Lionhearts EZ Betts On Texas Hold’Em, and the Shetland Sheepdog, CH Kylene Eden The Dragonslayer. His BIS was the WPG, one of only two of the breed to win a Best In Show this year. Congratulations to breeder/owner Elaine Hunsicker and co-owner Joan Coughlin.
Sunday, it was Robert C Thomas’ turn to take a look at the final seven. He saw the same WPG, Great Dane, Kerry Blue, & Sheltie with the Bloodhound, CH Ghost Hollow’s Spectacular Bid, the Japanese Chin, CH Kelaury Good Luck from We-Syng, and the Boston Terrier, CH Lonestar’s Mr Right. He chose the Great Dane, a seven year old bitch from the Veterans class. We love to see dogs from this class, especially in a breed not known for longevity. A big congratulations to breeders Jackie Hauski & Carol Stansbury and owners Renea & Rusty Crowell. You can see her photo here.
