Day two of the Skyline Kennel Club in Fisherville VA and it was hot, not the weather, that was perfect, but the competition was sizzling.
CH Krissy’s Dream Lover
Judge Pete Dawkins had the Labrador Retriever, CH Salty Dog Of Tampa Bay, yesterday’s BIS winner, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH OF Afrikka Spring Valley Dorian Gray JC, the Boxer, CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Sealyham Terrier, CH Efbe’s Merci Pour Le Poivre, the Shih Tzu, CH Krissy’s Dream Lover, the French Bulldog, CH Petite Cherie Femme De Puissance, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams.
The Boxer, Scarlett, was gone with the wind and the BIS trophy. She is the number one Boxer, the number three Working Dog, and the number nine dog all breeds.

WOW! the BIS line up. That was a real tough decision. They were all deserving. Congrats to the Shih Tzu.
ReplyDeleteLol. I guess people are used to my leading with the BIS winner's photo. I put up a photo of the Shih Tzu because the BIS winner, the Boxer, is a top ten dog and her photo is always on our front page. I put the Shih Tzu up because I had not previously featured her. Just trying to mix it up a bit.
ReplyDeleteThat's how some of us scan the endless blog entries, we just look at the photo and if it was something we were looking for then we stop and read.
ReplyDeleteMy 2 cents
I like mixing the pictures up. It gives the lesser known dogs a chance to get in the spotlight. They may not have won BIS but they did make it to the ring. I really, really like seeing pictures of the "less popular" breeds for lack of a better term. The ones you don't see everyday.
