It may not be balmy in Michigan yet, but the company was pleasant and the dogs were grand.
Seeking judge Judy Doniere’s approval were the Gordon Setter, CH Sastya Raggededge Peer Review, the Afghan Hound, CH Shenandoah Smoke And Mirrors, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Nanuke’s Still The One, the Border Terrier, CH Sirius’s I Could Be At CB’s, the Italian Greyhound, CH Deerfield’s Jackson Cage, the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Chaoyang’s Take It To The Limit, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lambluv’s Daydream Believer.
We love it when we get to witness a first BIS. Today was not only the Gordon, PJ’s, first BIS it was his first Group one. Congratulations to breeders Susan Sealock & Joy Hafer, owner/handler Mary Grill, and co-owners William & Mary Ann Leonard and Casandra Mayers.

Welcome, Mary Ann! And a personal congratulations on your BIS win. We are so happy to have you as one of our readers (and I apologize for misspelling your name)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bill.
ReplyDeleteAnd...if I could brag a little bit more... PJ is a very young dog (just 3) out competing against the other top 5 dogs who are all double his age or more.
In addition...PJ has all his health clearances!
And he has just sired his first litter!
PJ was my stud fee puppy, and hats off to his breeders who used my 18 mo. old puppy,Buck, to their lovely Raven and produced this great young dog!
I am having a hard time with this select profile thing...didn't mean to post anonymously...
