GCH CH Ashdown Time to Thrill

Down here in the Mid-South we are known for our hospitality and  many of our nation’s top dogs spent four days in  Jackson MS for the Greenville Mississippi Kennel Club’s and the

Judge Charlotte Patterson had the day one final at Thursday’s GMKC opener and her pick of the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Ashdown Time to Thrill, the Whippet, GCH CH Karasar’s Masterpiece, the Mastiff, GCH CH Willow Ridge’s Risky Business, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Kelwyn's Gm Freestyle Flyer, the Havanese, GCH CH That's Adorabull's Dreaming Of You, the Standard Poodle,  GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Topsey  Turvey.

The two she chose were the Cocker, Alan, and the Poodle, Flame.  Alan is the nation’s Number One Cocker Spaniel and Number Six Sporting Dog with seven BIS in 2014.

The Japanese Chin, GCH CH Dojo's Suikoden Tenmei, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH War Bouviator Ekabu's Deringer @ Dewerker, would join the now familiar, Cocker, Whippet, Mastiff, Scottie, and Standard Poodle in judge Clay Coady’s final at Saturday’s MSKC encore.  Judge Coady is known for his expertise on Terriers and he chose the Scottie as his Best In Show and Flame, the Standard Poodle, as his Reserve Best In Show.  It was the second of the year for the four year old bitch.

Judge Terry Carter would see it the other way round at Sunday’s GMKC closer giving the Poodle the BIS and the Scottie the RBIS.  Rounding out her final were the previously seen  Cocker, Whippet, Mastiff, Shih Tzu, and Bouvier.   Flame, the nation’s Number Three Dog All Breeds, leaves Mississippi with two more BIS bringing her year’s take to 38.
