GCH CH Unique da Maya Dancing Queen
It simply does not get more summer than Hilton Head Island SC, the perfect combination of nature and civilization, of sophistication and casual self-indulgence. This weekend found the Hilton Head Island Kennel Club set up for two days of doggy leisure in Ridgeland SC.
The day one final was in the hands of judge Denny Mounce who chose his top two from the Weimaraner, GCH CH Docs Greyborn North Star Of Acadia, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Honey Pot Bee In Love With Me, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Holly Woods Angels N Demons, the Russell Terrier, CH Kajsenborg’s Dirty Diana, the Pug, GCH CH Hill Country’s Tag I’m It, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Unique da Maya Dancing Queen, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Woodsides Megabucks.

Her Best was the Poodle, Marcie, and her Reserve was the Pug, JJ. Like every year we are blessed with several spectacular Standard Poodles this year. Marcie is the Number Three Standard Poodle, and Number 12 Non-Sporting Dog with three BIS and 20 Non-Sporting Groups this year.
GCH CH Skansen’s Holy Knight
Sunday judge Elizabeth Muthard would see the same Weimaraner, Russell, Pug, & GSD, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Skansen’s Holy Knight, and the Bulldog, GCH CH Imperious Hamitup Southern Belle. She would choose JJ, the Pug, for her BIS and the Giant, Knight, as her RBIS. It was the third BIS in 19 trips to the final ring this season for JJ and Handler Esteban Farias.
