GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect

We begin this morning’s reports with the results from the San Francisco Bay area. Vallejo CA. The Woofstock Cluster in Vallejo CA is a summertime stop that should be on everyone’s doggy bucket list. Not only does it always draw large entries and the top dogs, it’s hippy era, summer of love, theme is one of the most fun around. Throw in its proximity to California’s legendary wine country and you have the perfect vacation for dog lovers.
This year’s edition features the dramatic face off between 2014’s top two dogs, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect. The two have dominated the final ring the first three days in Vallejo, with the PWD, Matisse, going BIS and the OES, Swagger, taking RBIS on Thursday & Friday and Swagger taking the top award and Matisse the Reserve on Saturday.

Joining the two in judge Bill Shelton’s final at Saturday’s Contra Costa Kennel Club show were the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade Pay It Forward, the Norwegian Elkhound, CH Vin-Melca's Daggarwood Delight, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Allaruth Carmel Still Kidding V Sole Baye, the Japanese Chin, GCH CH Victory Spencer, and the French Bulldog, GCH CH Fulla Bull Soulja Boy.
Saturday’s win was worth 2107 points for Swagger, who now has 34 BIS and 62 Herding Groups on the year. Swagger trails Matisse by roughly 12,000 points at the mid-year point. You do remember that we are not yet at the mid-year point, right?
