GCH CH Militza’s My Cherie Amour
Another club confining itself to the traditional two day weekend was the Okaloosa Kennel Club who held their two shows this weekend in Ft Walton Beach FL. Saturday’s seven were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Militza’s My Cherie Amour, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Siphra’s Wish You Were Here, the Samoyed, GCH CH White Magic’s Seasoned Traveler, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Crynwyd Caprice, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, CH Jomey Benny Boo, the French Bulldog, Hillman’s High Hopes at Homewood, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH Limelite’s Tenfold.

Grabbing the BIS was the Setter, Adele. Scrambling for the RBIS was the Wire, Lucy. It was the first BIS in 17 appearances in the final ring this season for AKC’s Number One Irish Setter. (What’s a girl got to do to get noticed?) Congratulations to breeders/owners Tracy & Roger McNeal Jr, & Joel D Fisher DVM, owners .Kenneth R Wall & Nancy Godbey, and handler Ken Wall
CH Wynward’s Remember That
Adele, Lucy, & the Pharaoh Hound would all return on Sunday to try their luck with judge Molly Martin. Also seeking her favor were the Great Dane, CH Bayside’s Golden Boy, the Shih Tzu, CH Dancee I’ve Got A Secret at Purple Jade, the Standard Poodle, CH Piccadilly’s Aurora’s Maid of Honour, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Wynward’s Remember That.
Finishing one/two were the Shih Tzu and the OES. It was the first for the owner handled Shih Tzu. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Ginger Raber and owner Janet Danner.
