The Edwardsville Illinois Kennel Club held their two shows this weekend in Belleville IL, across the river from St Louis.  Judge Wendy Willhauck had the Saturday final and her choice of the American Water Spaniel, GCH CH Waterway Game Crk Hot Diggity, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundeleben Queens Armada SL, the Great Dane, GCH CH Long Miller N Lore Diamond Lil, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Camios Educated Exemplar, the Maltese, GCH CH Richelieu Valentino, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Hearts On Fire, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Wolf Creek Galaxy Of Merivern.

Striding to the front of the line was the GSD, Galaxy.  Standing in the second spot was the Longhaired Dachshund, Cheese.  Galaxy is this year’s Number One German Shepherd Dog and Number Four Herding Dog with 13 BIS and 68 Herding Groups.

Five of Saturday’s finalists would return on Sunday to judge Victoria Jordan’s BIS ring where they were joined by the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeen’s Under The Influence, and the Bulldog, CH Scotts Thatsa Rumor Has It.  Judge Jordan would name the Great Dane, Scout, as her BIS and the Maltese, Veni, as her RBIS.

Scout is the Number Three Working Dog and the Number Nine Dog All Breeds with 25 BIS and 53 Working Groups.  You do not want to miss the Working Group at this coming weekend’s AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
