We go back out to the west coast for our next report on the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club’s two shows in Vallejo CA, at the top of San Francisco Bay.  Judge Debbie Campbell-Freeman had the Saturday final and her pick of the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade's Pay It Forward, the Basenji, GCH CH Jasiri-Sukari Win Tin Tin, the Akita, GCH CH Ruthdale's Candy From A Baby, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Absolutely Talk of the Town, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla Small Kraft Re-Lit, the Miniature Poodle, CH Clarion Camelot Convergence, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo Picture Perfect.

Day one belonged to the OES, Swagger, who took the BIS and the Maltese, Hank, who collected the RBIS.  Swagger is the nation’s Number one Herding Dog with ten BIS and 33 Herding Groups.

CH Absolutely Talk of the Town

Swagger and the Smooth Fox, Taylor, would be the only of Saturday’s finalists to make judge Arley Hussin’s final on Sunday.  They would be challenged  by the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Dogwdcreek's La Vite E Bella, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Topsfield-Sanchu Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, the Portuguese water Dog, Spyglass N Aviator Sail With The Wind, the Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Chase What Matters, and the French Bulldog, GCH CH LeBull's El Morocco at LeCirque. 

Taylor and Swagger would finish one/two.  Taylor is the nation’s Number One Smooth Fox Terrier, with nine BIS and 23 Terrier Groups this year in limited showing.
