FINISHING UP IN PENNSYLVANIA

Two of the most contested shows last week were Saturday’s Lehigh Valley Kennel Club and Sunday’s Berks County Kennel Club shows.  Judge Jon Cole’s seven finalists on Saturday were the English Setter, GCH CH Wyndswept's Reflection of the Heart, the Bloodhound, GCH H Flessner's International S'Cess, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Sharjets Starr Catcher CD RN, the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH An Garda Deja Vu Looking at You, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Sakura, the Keeshond, CH KJs Hot Date, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus.

Finishing one/two were the Puli, Ziggy, and the Setter, Rio.  It’s the first of the year for Ziggy and owner/handler Jackie Beaudoin.  Congratulations to Jackie, breeder/owner Sue Huebner, and owner & Franco Licciardi.

Judge June Penta had Sunday’s final and a mostly new seven, the English Setter, Rio, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Skansen’s Havannah, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Joval Angel’s Whisper, the Miniature Pinscher, CH Kimro N Spiva's Super Trooper, the Schipperke, GCH CH De LaMer Point Break, and the Shetland Sheepdog, CH Acadia Stage Presence.

Best went to the Foxhound, Jewel, Reserve to the Sheltie, Liza.  Jewel is the US’ Number One Hound and Number Five Dog All Breeds with 25 BIS and 81 Hound Groups.
