GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky
The country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Wire Fox
Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, added four more BIS this past week to
her already impressive 2013 resume. The
California native was in Monroe LA for the four show Cotton Land Cluster. When we last visited Monroe, Sky had just collected
the big rosette at the Bayou Kennel Club’s day one show on Friday.
At the BKC’s day two show Sky would be judge Larry Kerluke’s favorite
over the Reserve winner, the Saluki, GCH CH Appalachia's Allamyrra Hajji, the
Pointer, GCH CH Chesterhope State Of T Art, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH
Onyxstar’s Black Falcon, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla's Small Kraft Re-Lit, the
Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade East Do You Know The Way To San Jose, the
Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hill's Money Talks.
CH Willow Ridges Risky Business
The Vicksburg Kennel Club took over on Sunday and asked
judge Carl Gomes to choose his top two.
He would choose Sky and the Mastiff, GCH CH Willow Ridge’s Risky
Business, as his BIS and RBIS, passing over the above named Pointer, Saluki,
the Papillon, GCH CH InVolo The King Of Pop, the Bulldog, GCH CH Mytoys Epic Against
the Wind, and the Belgian Sheepdog, CH Insengard's Ring Of Fire RE CD NA NAJ.
GCH CH Chesterhope State Of T Art
Col Joe Purkhiser would close the set on Monday, declaring
Sky the VKC’s BIS once again and handing
the previously seen Pointer, Miley, the Reserve ribbon. Rounding out his seven finalists were the now
familiar Saluki, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style, the Shih Tzu, Zephyer
Monogram Maybe Marilyn, the aforementioned Shar-Pei, and the German Shepherd
Dog, GCH CH Karizma's Ike Of Edale.
Sky returns to the west coast with 49 BIS on the year and an
11,000 point lead on the rest of our Top Ten All Breeds.
