We have neglected the west coast in our Labor Day week reports.  Let’s correct that now.  In the Pacific Northwest fanciers gathered in St Helena OR for the Longview-Kelso Kennel Club’s two shows this past weekend.  Taking home both of the BISs was the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore.

On Saturday judge Lesley Hiltz chose Ally out of a seven that also included the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mountain View National Acclaim, the Reserve winner, the Smooth Dachshund, GCH CH Spellbounds You Go First, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Peace River’s Gathers No Moss at Sunstra, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Ring of Fire, a Pomeranian from the classes, Two T’s Eye of the Tiger, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Fairway One Over Par.

GCH CH Spellbounds You Go First

Ally and handler Tim Brazier were joined in Col Harold Brizee’s Sunday final by the Irish Setter, Mi Jean’s Ultimatum, repeating the RBIS was the Smooth Dachshund, the St Bernard, GCH CH Revlo’s Liquid Asset From Redside, the same AmStaff & Pom, and the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Sky Acres Flying Solo.

The two wins brings Ally’s 2013 take to 18 BIS and 43 Non-Sporting Groups.
