The nation’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Portuguese Water
Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, extended his stay in Topeka KS,
taking Thursday’s Topeka Kennel Club Best In Show.
Also asking for judge Janet Sinclair’s favor were the German
Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Ehrenvogel Key To My Heart CA, the Rhodesian
Ridgeback, GCH CH Raquel Welch Of Malabo APD, the Bedlington Terrier, CH First
Class Willow Wind The Phoenix, the Maltese, CH Rhapsody’s Someone Like You, the
Reserve winner, the Dalmatian, CH Centurion Anticipation Charming Danfield, and
the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Grandgables Jolie Victor Ludorum CC.
Matisse’s 54th BIS of the season will put him
about 625 points closer to the Number One Dog, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll
Painting the Sky. Although Matisse has
tem more BIS than Sky, he trails her by almost 8,000 points in the traditional
all breed rankings. Still we are not
ready to call this one just yet. Stay
tuned, only on Dog Show Poop will you know where our Top Dogs stand day to day.
