DOUBLE BACK2BACK BIS IN AL

GCH CH Oakhill's Two Times The Dragon

We were happy to see two of our extreme breeds (we know we will hear about that characterization) dominate the action here in the South last week.  The Pekingese, GCH CH Oakhill's Two Times The Dragon, and the Bulldog, GCH CH Itsa Brix, each collected two BIS this past week.  The Peke, Deuce, took both of the top prizes at the Decatur Alabama Kennel Club’s two shows  and the Bulldog, Brix, grabbed the BACK2BACK BIS at the Huntsville Kennel Club’s two shows in Priceville AL.
GCH CH Itsa Brix

On Thursday Janice Pardue chose Deuce and Brix out of a seven that included the Irish Setter, GCH CH Herihundas Table for One, the Wirehaired Dachshund, Raydachs Ride My Ducati Sw, the Great Dane, GCH CH Longo Miller N Lore's Diamond Lil, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Gordon's Bite Of The Apple, and the Finnish Lapphund, Sugarok Macce Too.

CH Insights No Bias No Bull

Friday’s DAKC final fell to Peggy Dillard Carr who gave the BIS to Deuce and the RBIS to the Longhaired Dachshund, CH Insights No Bias No Bull, while the Welsh Springer Spaniel, CH Rolyart's Tale-Gator, the Samoyed, GCH CH Polar Mist Cruz'n T'Party At Zamosky, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just Kidding V Sole Baye, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogelflight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH  CH Karizma's Ike Of Edale, watched.

These are the first two BIS of the year for Deuce and owner/handler Joseph Franklin.  Congratulations to Joe, breeder Kaesi L Cook, and owner Brenda Royer.

GCH CH Harbor's It Had To Be Me

On Saturday the whole crowd moved camp from Huntsville to Decatur for the HKC’s day one show.  Thomas Parotti chose Brix as his Best and gave the Reserve award to the Havanese, GCH CH Harbor's It Had To Be Me.  Also on hand were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Ocoee Dsqd With A Vengeance, the Longhaired Dachshund, Solo's Playboy SL, the above named Great Dane, the White Bull Terrier, CH Hawthorn Summer Shandy, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Jesstar Nirvana.

GCH CH Polar Mist Cruz'n T'Party At Zamosky

Sunday James Hupp closed the set by handing Jay Serion, Brix’ handler, the big rosette, and the Reserve ribbon to Robert Chaffin, handler of the above named Samoyed, Cruz.  There to the end were the previously seen English Springer, LH Dachshund, Solo's Playboy SL, Schnauzer, & Sheltie.  Making the final final their first of the set was the Havanese, GCH CH Wyhaven's How D'ya Like Me Now.

Brix and Jay make their home in state, but have been all over the US this season, collecting three BIS and 18 Non-Sporting Groups to make Brix the country’s Number One Bulldog.
