GCH CH Myshara’s Dream Girl
Here in the Mid South this weekend, fanciers gathered in Columbiana AL for three shows. On Friday it was the Birmingham Kennel Club and Richard Greathouse’s final of the Field Spaniel, CH Winfarthing Pride & Prejudice, 15” the Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Midnight Confession, the Great Dane, CH Raintree Erinwood Dixie RGG's Luciano, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Kambaras Zebulon, the Toy Fox Terrier, CH Torsbys Hugelys Finest Fella O'BJ, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Trisongs Breakin All The Rules, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Myshara’s Dream Girl. Day one belonged to the nation’s Number One Australian Shepherd, Beyonce. That’s her second this year.
Beyonce would be the only of Friday’s finalists to make it back to James Briley’s BIS ring for the Tuscaloosa Kennel Club. She was joined by the Curly-Coated Retriever, GCH CH Down Datrail Hunting Thrills, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Suncrest Sharp Dressed Man, the Boxer, GCH CH Carillon’s MVP, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Repititions Valedictorian, the Havanese, CH Harbors Petunia Pinkle Bottom, and the Bichon Frise, CH Dognews Got To Get You Into My Life.
His BIS was the Boxer, Jake. We’ve been seeing this handsome fellow show up again and again in finals (He won 12 Working Groups last year), but this is his first all breed Best. Congratulations to breeder Cindy Suarez, owners Steve & Ann Anderson, and handler Rick Justice.
The closed it down Sunday with Sari Brewster Tietjen choosing a BIS for the Birmingham KC. Her options were the Boxer, Jake, the above named Afghan, Schnauzer, & Tibetan Terrier, the Clumber Spaniel, CH Avalea The Pumpkin King, the Pug, GCH CH Capers Sirius Endeavor, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra. Best went to the Tibetan Terrier, Trudie. It’s the first all breed BIS for Trudie, who just turned two last month. Congratulations to breeder/owner Dr Susan Schultz and handler Ellen Akers Perry.
