ANGELES CANYON DOG CLUB

GCH CH Silhouette’s LifeInTheFastLane

Out in sunny Southern California, fanciers spent two days in the Los Angeles enclave known as the City of Industry (Isn’t that an oxymoron in SOCAL?) In case, Saturday seven dogs were working hard to get the attention of BIS judge William Usherwood.  They were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Silhouette’s LifeInTheFastLane, the Ibizan hound, GCH CH Harehill’s ace In The Hole, the Boxer, CH Atellstar’s All That Glitters at Cinnibon, the Border Terrier, CH Devon’s Moon Shadow at Marlyn, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Casnross First Griff Tina Fey, the French Bulldog, CH Lebull’s New Hope Wool Bully, and the Australian Shepherd, Blackrock American Flyer PT.

The Angeles Canyon Dog Club day one BIS went to the Weimaraner, Jimmie.  In superb condition, this strong mover is thrilling crowds all over the US and has collected two all breed BIS and enough group placements to make him a Top Twenty Dog All Breeds.

At the day two show, Johan Becerra-Hernandez would choose his Best from an all new seven, the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Shortales N Cahoots W Irondale JH, the Harrier, CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the Rottweiler, CH Parisians Helo of Riverridge, the Scottish Terrier, Highlands Mistymoors Piper McGrady, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Cliffrose Call of the Dove, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Desoto’s Jump Start by Poseidia, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Cottonwood Man in the Moon.

Best went to the Harrier, Chet.  We love to see a rare breed go BIS and Chet is the first Harrier to go BIS since   2009.  Chet is the son of CH Downhome Family Tradition, the winningest Harrier in AKC history.  Congratulations to breeders Susan Lowder, Ken and Miriam Nell, owners Carla & Joe Sanchez , and handler Jorge Olivera.
