Although there were four shows this week in Gonzales LA outside New Orleans, we did not get the results of those shows until this morning. They opened the four day set on Thursday with Donnelle Richards calling the Best In Show for the Riverside West Kennel Club Of Greater New Orleans. Her seven were the English Springer Spaniel, CH Capulets Innovation, the 15” Beagle, CH Belcanto Flags A'Flyin, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Horizons Upper Echelon, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Dalriadas Mystic, the Pekingese, CH Franshaw Hear Me Roar, the Schipperke, CH Dante Fire When Ready, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Twinroc Santa Paws. It was the country's Number One Cardigan Corgi, Dickens, taking the opening BIS. It's the second this year for Dickens and handler Lois DeMers.
At the RWKCGNO’s day two show on Friday Del Richards saw the same Doberman, Wire Fox, Pek & Schipperke, the English Setter, CH Hemlock Lane No Fly Zone, the Redbone Coonhound, CH CWSG GCH Sidearm Jungle King Mufasa, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Kridlers Nutmeg V Signature. BIS would go to the Peke, Noel. Mark that as the twelfth this yeara for Noel and handler Hiram
Stewart.
Saturday, the Northlake Kennel Club Of Greater Covington Dr Alvin Krause would see the above named Wire Fox, Peke & GSD, the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Northgates As You Like It, the Giant Schnauzer, CH Sonnenschein River Chase, and the Bichon Frise, CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy. His Best was the country’s Number One GSD, Meg. That’s Five this year for Meg and owner/handler James Moses, four in the last ten days.
Sunday Joe Walton close it out for the NKCGC with the previously mentioned Cocker, Pharaoh Hound, Peke, Schipperke, & GSD, the Mastiff, CH Lazy D's Bonnie Blu, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Mustang Sallys Dream Boy. He would choose the Cocker, Beckham, as his BIS. Beckham is AKC’s number one Cocker, Number Two Sporting Dog, and Number Seven Dog All Breeds.
