While most of the US is experiencing the colors of fall, out in California it is perennial summer. The Burbank Kennel Club set up this weekend in Van Nuys CA, one of the many neighborhoods that make up greater Los Angeles.
We told you that the newly arrived British import, the Lakeland Terrier, Saredon For Your Eyes Only, was Dr Roger Pritchard’s BIS on Saturday. Now we can tell you that Ginger and handler Jenny Wornall were accompanied by finalists, the Weimaraner, CH Smokycity Silhouette Dbl Ur Pleasure, the 13” Beagle, CH Jabrwoki’s Le Jazz Hot, the Akita, CH Minda Fujisvs Violets Are Blue, the Havanese, CH Bellatak My Funny Valentine, the Schipperke, CH Schip-By-Me Butch Cassidy, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Avalon Frontier Sleepnlady Webber.
Sunday the Weimaraner, the Akita, and the Schipperke were all back for a second shot with Davod Kirkland. The new four were the Afghan Hound, CH Khandu Olympia, the Manchester Terrier, CH Oasis Hi Jack The Show, the Brussels Griffon, CH Cashin’s Walk The Line, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lov’N;Stuff Mak’N a Difference. It was better the second time around for the country’s number one Weimaraner, Wrigley, who got her third all breed BIS this year.
Next we are off to Paradise.
