We’ve worked our way over to Region Four, the North Central Region where there was all the doggy action anyone could want this weekend.
There was the four day stand in Muncie IN that started on Thursday. To recap what we have already told you, we gave you complete results for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sunday, Kathleen Steen saw the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Ripsnorter's Mt.View Lookout, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Adili's American Idol, the Siberian Husky, CH Topaz T.R,O.U.B.L.E., the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Kemosabe Broxden High Button Shoes, the Italian Greyhound, CH Logos Walking In The Light, the Standard Poodle, CH Bar-None Dawin Travelin' Man, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Tim Tam Avant Garde.
BIS went to the country’s two Sporting Dog, the GWP, Scout. Scout started the week as the number twelve dog all breeds. Check back with us tomorrow to see if he made it into the top ten.
We haven’t visited West Burlington IA yet this week. The Burlington Iowa Kennel Club held two shows there this weekend. The first on Saturday featured Charles Olvis in the final ring. His contestants were the English Cocker Spaniel, CH Sweet Apple Sir Prize, the Basset Hound, CH Topsfield-Sanchu American Express, the Siberian Husky, CH Blueridge Soma's Mel Gibson, the Norwich Terrier, CH Abbedale Take Two At Taliesin, the Papillion, CH Wingssong Rock Star, the Lhasa Apso, CH Joyslyn Mitoya Wind Walker, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Marquis Stealing The Show TC.
Day one belonged to the Siberian, Mel. We haven’t seen much of this six year old boy since 2006, but he still turns heads wherever he goes. Congratualtions to breeders/owners Bart & Patti Miller and co-owner Jeanne Paillot.
Sunday, Carolyn Herbel saw the same Basset, Norwich, & GSD with the English Springer Spaniel, CH Tiffany Esspecial Imagery, the Rottweiler, CH Goldshield’s Giorgio Armani, the Affenpinscher, CH Iduna Oliver Twist, and the Tibetan Terrier, CH Cedar C’s & Barnstorm’s Ltd Edition. Her Best was the Basset, Timmy, the country’s top winning Basset Hound. Just barely two years old, we expect a whole lot more of this guy.
CH Skyscot's Poker Chip
Our last stop in Region four is Marshfield WI and the Marshfield Area Kennel Club’s Sunday show. AnnYuhasz’ seven were Friday’s BIS winner, the English Springer Spanielm CH Tagalong N Shamrock Irish Eyes, the Basenji, CH Ankhu Promises In The Dark, the Akita, CH Buckridge Positive Energy, the Norwich Terrier, CH Skyscot's Poker Chip, the Havanese, CH River Hills Featured Pix, the Bichon Frise, CH Height's WWW. Com, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Quiche's Demetruis.
Her BIS was the nation’s number one Norwich, Poker Chip. We don’t see enough of this little guy, but he does make us smile every time we see him. That’s number six for him.
