Larry Sinclair was the BIS judge today at the Holyoke Kennel Club show in West Springfield MA, the second of five shows there this week. Today’s entry was nearly 1400 dogs, again, not bad for a Thursday
CH Fleet St Fenway FanHis seven finalists were the Labrador, CH Casbar’s Hart To Hart, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, CH Celestial CJ’s Hearts On Fire, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Trevi’s Lonestar, the Irish Terrier, CH Fleet St Fenway Fan, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Mondrian VH Lamslag RE, the Bulldog, CH Kepley’s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the Puli, CH Moremi Mind Your Manners.
Both the PBGV and the Bernese had interesting routes to the final. The former had to get by the number one PBGV, number one Hound, and number dog all breeds, CH Rokeena Carte Blanche, to get to the final. The latter had to get by the number one Doberman, the number one Working Dog, and the number two dog all breeds, CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton. However, it was the black beauty, the Lab, RJ, posting his second BIS in as many days.
As we said ,this is a cluster that bears watching closely. We expect lots of surprises.
